Position Overview

\n\n

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to support application development, modernization, and data migration initiatives. This role involves designing and developing Power Apps, customer-facing web applications, and enhancing existing .NET applications while working within an Agile Scrum environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ASP.NET MVC, Azure technologies, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and Azure DevOps, along with experience supporting large-scale data migration and validation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

\n\n

Business & Requirements Analysis

\n\n

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
Document current and future-state business processes, system workflows, and integrations.
Develop and maintain data mapping and interface mapping documentation between legacy and modern applications.
Ensure complete traceability of functional and non-functional requirements.

\n\n

Software Development

\n\n

Design, develop, and maintain applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, and Entity Framework.
Develop and support Power Apps and customer-facing web applications.
Build and deploy applications using Azure App Services.
Develop and optimize Azure SQL databases, stored procedures, and queries.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Support CI/CD pipeline implementation using Azure DevOps and Azure Git Repositories.

Data Migration & Validation

\n\n

Develop reusable automated data validation scripts.
Validate migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and business rule compliance.
Verify record counts, referential integrity, and data transformations.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies with development and data teams.
Document migration testing procedures and validation results.
Support System Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Agile Development

\n\n

Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlog items.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software increments.
Contribute to continuous process improvements.

\n\n

Required Qualifications

\n\n

\n\t
Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework.
\n\t
Experience developing Power Apps solutions.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including:\n\t
- Azure App Services
- Azure SQL
- Azure DevOps
- Azure Git Repositories
- CI/CD Pipelines
\n\t
Experience creating automated SQL/data validation scripts.
Strong SQL development and relational database experience.
Experience with data migration, data mapping, and interface mapping.
Experience using Azure DevOps for work item management, testing, and defect tracking.
Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Visio.

Experience with legacy application modernization projects.

Public sector or government project experience.
Experience with SSIS and ETL processes.
Knowledge of API integrations and enterprise system interfaces.
