General Description
  • The Department of Administrative Services Information Technology Division is seeking an individual with strong Human Resource (HR) systems knowledge and business analysis skills.  
  • The Business Analyst analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design, configuration, and support of the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) system ePerformance and workforce administration modules.  
  • This individual should have knowledge of HR tools and processes.  In this role, the individual will work directly with state entity HR staffs to assist with supporting the ePerformance module in production as well as the implementation of new functionality.
  • This individual should have good organization, presentation, and problem solving skills to assist the business team in supporting and implementing HCM as well as other HR tools. 

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:
  • Designs and develops PeopleSoft ePerformance and Workforce Management tools
  • Develops change management plans for transition to new functions or system upgrades
  • Develops and documents business processes for users of new functions or upgraded system
  • Provides customer support for performance templates, documents and performance processes
  • Provides support for complex customer issues.
  • Tests or coordinates testing of new features or upgrades
 Technical Competencies:
  • Expertise in ePerformance administration (9.2) including creating and managing documents, templates, sections, performance calendar, etc.  
  • Working knowledge with HCM Workforce Administration, Position Management, and Content Catalog 
  • Working knowledge of PS Query to create and run queries related to ePerformance and ratings
  • Ability to evaluate existing PeopleSoft functions and understand their structure and component parts
  • Ability to determine function needs and system requirements
  • Ability to problem solve application and user issues and identify solutions
