Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team and support software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in standard business analysis concepts, practices, and deliverables. This role requires a deep understanding of gathering and documenting requirements, a thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with standard market testing tools is essential. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 9 years of experience in business analysis or a related area are required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current case management processes through interviews, observation, and document review.
  • Document all aspects of the case lifecycle, including intake, processing, tracking, and closure.
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and ensure alignment with the new system.
  • Develop a comprehensive system map or flowchart that visually represents the ideal case management process.
  • Document and communicate process changes to all relevant parties.
  • Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring a smooth transition to a more efficient case management system.
  • Utilize standard market testing tools to validate system requirements and performance.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding process improvements and system implementation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 9 years of experience in business analysis or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of gathering and documenting requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with standard market testing tools.
  • Ability to work independently with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with case management systems.
  • Proficiency in creating system maps or flowcharts.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and training sessions.
