Facilitate, manage, and lead special projects, assignments, audits, and tasks to ensure successful execution.
Oversee the AIM policy management lifecycle.
Serve as the architecture review board chair, responsible for facilitating meetings, overseeing the change process, escalating concerns raised by the board, and tracking and reporting all changes.
Audit and Compliance:
Work closely with the City Auditor and AIM leadership regarding audit findings and audit coordination.
Proactively address all audit findings.
Ensure the department aligns with citywide records retention policies.
Escalate all risks and issues impacting the department from a policy, audit, or controls perspective.
Data and Systems Management:
Ensure the City appropriately manages the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems through the management of policies and procedures.
Ensure high-quality results for all areas under the control and oversight of the PMDP.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in policy management, audit controls, and risk reduction within an IT environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and lead teams through complex projects and audits.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with AIM leadership, the City Auditor, and other stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of records retention policies and their application within a municipal IT setting.
