Desirable Technical Qualifications:
Experience as a Business Analyst with State or Federal government entities.
Experience in the technical implementation of ITSM and ITAM solutions, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Hardware and Software Asset Management, Cloud SaaS Cost Management, Request Management, End User Experience, Service Portfolio, Asset Discovery, and Service Level Management.
IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP or CCBA) – certification may be requested.
Experience in Agile project management methodology or Scaled Agile Framework.
Familiarity with the ITIL Framework.
 
Job Description: 
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in the technical implementation of ITSM and ITAM solutions, including ServiceNow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading or participating in the technical implementation of these solutions, automating complex business processes, and working closely with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining requirement management plans, facilitating design sessions, and ensuring all business and system requirements are thoroughly documented and analyzed.
  
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Requirement Management:
    Create and maintain requirement management plans.
  • Assess the scope of analysis tasks.
  • Plan and manage business analysis tasks.
Facilitation and Documentation:
  • Facilitate joint application design (JAD) and collaborative design sessions.
  • Elicit, define, and document business, user, and system requirements.
  • Model and document new functional requirements; develop use cases.
Analysis and Improvement:
  • Analyze business processes for improvement, application design, and workflow automation.
  • Lead and work with cross-functional teams including business subject matter experts, application architects, developers, and testers.
Vendor Coordination:
  • Work closely with the ServiceNow implementation vendor team to ensure successful project execution. 
     
Experience:
At least five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst within the last ten (10) years, specifically with large organizations and in the technical implementation of ITSM and ITAM solutions like ServiceNow.
At least seven (7) years of experience within the last ten (10) years producing business analysis deliverables such as business requirements, use cases, non-functional requirements, stakeholder requests, procurement documentation, and transition plans.
At least three (3) years of experience using tools like Rational Requisite Pro, HP ALM, Jama Software, or similar for documenting functional and non-functional requirements, design specifications, and providing full traceability.
