Job Summary: 
This initiative is in its early phases, offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of this groundbreaking project.
The Project Manager will oversee the project from initiation to closure, working closely with cross-functional teams comprising agency stakeholders, business users, IT professionals, and vendors. The selected candidate must be local and will be required to work onsite office three times a week.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders 
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines 
  • Prepare and distribute regular dashboards and status reports to all stakeholders 
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and expectations 
  • Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation strategies 
  • Oversee vendor deliverables, ensuring compliance with Statements of Work (SOW) 
  • Organize and facilitate cross-functional team meetings, driving collaboration and communication 
  • Lead change management efforts, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of new systems 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, including those related to data privacy 

Required Experience: 
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, particularly managing large-scale technology projects 
  • Experience working with public sector or state agencies, DMV experience preferred 
  • Familiarity with mobile app development, digital wallets, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and biometric authentication 

Required Skills: 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey complex information clearly 
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly in presenting to executive leadership 
  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving accountability 
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed organization to drive decision-making and progress 
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills, with innovative approaches to overcoming challenges 
  • Expertise in uncovering dependencies, requirements, and expectations not explicitly stated 
  • Skilled in managing sensitive government projects diplomatically and with sound judgment 
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) 
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, PPM tools (e.g., Monday.com), JIRA, and Confluence 

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a related field
