Job Title: Business Analyst - Records Retention
Duration: 6-9 months (with likely extension)
Location: Richmond, VA (initial 6-8 weeks onsite)

Travel Reimbursed: Yes (possibility of a hybrid schedule of 1-2 weeks per month offsite)

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on operational readiness.
  • Experience in developing knowledge management systems, with at least 2+ implementations preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaborating with cross-functional teams and content creation.
  • Experience with workflow/process development and documentation management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio.
  • Ability to stay highly organized and detail-oriented in fast-paced project environments.
  • Utility industry experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and establish a strategy for records retention and knowledge management for customer systems.
  • Meet with key stakeholders to understand the current (as-is) and future (to-be) states and define SLAs.
  • Develop knowledge management content, reports, and dashboards to support operational needs.
  • Establish a change control process and assist stakeholders during implementation and adoption.
  • Ensure that the schedule, scope, and budget are maintained throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure the final solution aligns with the strategic goals.

  • Ensure the project stays on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop processes, workflows, and reporting systems effectively.
