Job Description: The Office of Information Services (OIS) seeks an experienced Training Developer IV to support the transition of their benefits management processes across various boards. This position will focus on developing and implementing training plans and materials for the new Benefits Management System (BMS), collaborating with Solution Providers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the successful rollout of the system and its associated processes. The contractor will also play a critical role in managing the training strategy and addressing change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions for the existing boards, and their system administrators. Key Responsibilities:
BMS Training Development: Manage the creation and delivery of BMS training materials with input from Solution Providers and SMEs.
Process Change Management: Develop training on process changes, create change logs, and update materials.
Training Implementation Plan: Develop and lead the roll-out of the BMS training plan.
Organizational Change Management: Conduct readiness assessments, design strategies, and coordinate change activities with OEBB-PEBB management and staff.
Communication Coordination: Work with communication teams to align change management and training efforts. Satisfy requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit & integration testing
Required skills and experience:
3+ years in Training Development, particularly with COTS/SAS solutions.
Experience in Benefits Management Systems (preferred).
Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Project Management.
Excellent verbal and written communication, learning ability, teamwork, and presentation skills.
Additional Desired skills:
Experience with Oracle/PeopleSoft or other benefits-related systems.
Proficiency in instructional design and training delivery techniques.
