Project Overview: Seeking a Lead MuleSoft Developer to support API and integration development for various mission-critical applications and data interfaces, including those involving Salesforce and MuleSoft. This role will support the Information Systems (IS) Division’s efforts to enhance and modernize the technology landscape.
Scope of Work: The selected Lead MuleSoft Developer will:
Lead development efforts on MuleSoft integrations and API solutions.
Serve as a senior-level contributor and technical expert during the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Maintain and support existing MuleSoft interfaces and Salesforce-integrated applications.
Participate in design sessions, requirement analysis, system architecture decisions, and testing activities.
Collaborate with the System Integrator (SI) during CCWIS implementation and knowledge transfer.
Provide production support and troubleshooting for MuleSoft processes.
Ensure best practices for code management and deployments are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support MuleSoft APIs and integrations.
Maintain and enhance Salesforce-integrated MuleSoft data exchanges.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Perform code reviews, write and maintain technical documentation.
Work closely with QA for planning and executing test strategies.
Assist with migration from legacy systems and support modernization efforts.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to establishing development standards.
Provide estimates and contribute to project planning with managers.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of overall IT experience in software development and integration.
5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft – Required for Interview.
5+ years of experience integrating MuleSoft and Salesforce.
Strong experience with SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) – 10+ years preferred.
Knowledge of MuleSoft deployment best practices and DevOps pipelines (Microsoft Azure DevOps).
Experience with source/version control systems such as TFS or Azure DevOps.
Expertise in integration technologies including REST, SOAP, WCF, and WebAPI.
Proficiency with XSLT, XML, JSON, and integration using SQL Server and DB2.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, and skills in C#, Java, JavaScript, JQuery.
Experience developing enterprise-grade software with a focus on reusability and scalability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Service Bus.
Proficiency in database development using SQL Server – including stored procedures, views, and functions.
Familiarity with Salesforce architecture and configuration is a plus.

Background check and child protection clearance required.
