Position Overview
Agency requires a Mainframe Developer to support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of enterprise financial systems. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting, troubleshooting, and improving legacy mainframe applications. Key Responsibilities
- Perform software system development related to system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Provide software and system support for issue resolution, including break/fix and bug repair tasks.
- Develop maintenance documentation for coding changes and break/fix resolution.
- Provide quality assurance and testing of code changes.
- Provide informal coaching and knowledge transfer to agency support personnel related to system functions and changes implemented.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in public sector or government environments.
- Familiarity with legacy financial applications and modernization efforts.
- Strong documentation, communication, and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
