Position summary:
- As an Integration and Test Systems Engineer you will support programs within our Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Business Unit (BU).
- Maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and test of spacecraft, aircraft and/or related equipment.
- Coordinate integration activities with supervisors, program engineers and various customer organizations.
- Document and disposition hardware discrepancies and pursuing root cause and corrective actions.
- Design and develop tooling to aid in the integration and test process.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset
- Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment
- Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction
- Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
- Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret clearance with additional customer specified clearance prior to start.
- 5 years with a Bachelor’s in Science OR 3 years with Master’s OR 1 year with PhD.
- Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation
- Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing
- Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices
- Working knowledge of the following specialty areas: EOIR systems, sensors, optics
- Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and tools (Cameo)
- Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
- Ability and willingness to travel
