Job Summary
Our client is undertaking two major technology modernization initiatives: the Data Center Modernization (DCM) Project and the Mac to Windows Transition Project. These initiatives are foundational to the client's enterprise technology strategy, modernizing identity services, infrastructure, server environments, endpoint management, and workstation platforms.
The client is seeking an experienced Sr. Windows Systems Administrator L3 to provide senior-level technical expertise, support modernization initiatives, and assist with ongoing operational systems administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Data Center Modernization and Mac to Windows Transition projects.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, DNS, DHCP, and related infrastructure.
- Manage Microsoft Intune, Group Policy, endpoint management, Windows imaging, workstation deployment, and device lifecycle management.
- Assist with server migrations, identity modernization, domain consolidation, and infrastructure modernization.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in testing, pilot deployments, production implementations, and troubleshooting.
- Provide Tier III technical support and assist with day-to-day systems administration activities.
- Coordinate with client staff, project managers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Perform additional systems administration duties to support project and operational objectives.
Deliverables
- Monthly status report outlining completed work, accomplishments, risks/issues, and planned activities.
- Monthly invoice reflecting approved hours worked.
