ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions based on business requirements.
• Customize and configure ServiceNow modules, workflows, forms, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for ServiceNow enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other business systems and applications.
• Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to optimize business processes.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow instances.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Keep documentation up to date with changes and enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, security, and business analysts.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on development and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform features, including modules, workflows, and scripting.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Developer Certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting and automation.
• Previous experience working in an enterprise IT environment is a plus.
