Key Responsibilities:
- Handle disciplinary and administrative law cases involving healthcare licensees in Tennessee’s 89 rural counties.
- Review complaints and investigations and work with investigators and licensing board consultants.
- Negotiate case resolutions with healthcare professionals.
- Manage litigation, including discovery, motions, hearings, and trials before healthcare licensing boards.
- Manage a high-volume caseload across different litigation stages.
- Support legislative projects and perform bill analysis related to rural healthcare.
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Active Tennessee Bar license in good standing
- Litigation experience, preferably including trial experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- 1+ year of relevant legal experience preferred.
