Job Description

Our Client is seeking a skilled Application Developer with strong Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform experience to support its Data Modernization Initiative.

The Application Developer will work with the IT development team and collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Testers, Trainers, and Production Support teams. The role will focus on designing, developing, and managing data models, interactive dashboards, reports, and Power Platform solutions that transform raw data into meaningful business insights.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, data modeling, and Microsoft Power Platform, along with experience developing Power Pages solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, transform, and prepare data using Power Query and SQL.
• Design and maintain relational data models and star schemas.
• Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and analytical calculations.
• Build interactive, multi-page Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Use Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service for data modeling, visualization, and reporting.
• Translate business requirements into KPIs, report specifications, and technical solutions.
• Develop enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
• Design and configure Power Pages websites, forms, lists, security, permissions, and authentication.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Configure Web Roles, Table Permissions, and Azure AD authentication.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate technical findings.
• Support data preparation and transformation using Power Query M.
• Use Excel and SQL for data analysis, validation, and ad hoc reporting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting and data modernization solutions.

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, report development, or a related area.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, DAX, and data modeling.
• Experience with Power Query and ETL/data preparation.
• Experience building relational and star-schema data models.
