Candidates MUST have 10+ years’ relevant and 3 years NIKE tenure as a full-time Scrum Master and/or have software development or delivery organization background with a Scrum (CSM or PSM) with proven experience leading multiple teams within complex environments.
Key Skills: Agile/Scrum, Kanban, Lean (green/black belt), CMM and a tech background will be a definite advantage along with Scaled Agile experience for large organizations.
Desired Tools: You should also possess experience acquired through 3+years of leading program and scrum in a product-engineering (such as ITIL, CI/CD, AWS, GCP) organization. Tools you'll be using Jira, Aha! Miro, Confluence, Lucid Chart.
Expectations for this Role: Build skill at leading teams through Story Mapping and the Product Discovery process. Build expertise in the following areas: Consumer Permissions & Privacy, Consumer Data Platforms, and Analytics. Other opportunities may include tagging and taxonomy, data capture, management, and personalization (AIML). Closely working with engineering and product teams to ensure that programs and scrum execute best-of-the-best practices. Lead complex program, privacy data management. Manage a couple of squads; you're on point for all ceremonies and measurable continuous improvement. Holding people accountable for clarity, scope, and time-boxing work to deliver value. Identify "what can be done" - Leading a complex program. Running all scrum, Kanban, Etc. related ceremonies - Managing ambiguity - Developing a positive working environment
Job Responsibilities: • Responsible for guiding the development of an agile team into an effective delivery unit with a sustainable cadence • Responsible for ensuring the teams process evolves within organizational guidelines and standards of practice • Must be able to nurture self-organizing, high performing teams through servant leadership and mentoring • Facilitate project team meetings, project road-mapping sessions, gather feedback by presenting to all levels of leadership • Encourage, support, and guide continuous improvement of the team, its products and processes • Excellent communicator, able to gain the respect of the team, external stakeholders, and management • Able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation • Must be willing and able to identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and then facilitate quick resolution • Facilitate agile activities and meetings, including sprint planning, retrospectives and sprint reviews • Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed • Ensure cross-team coordination • Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal • Maintain relevant metrics that provide organizational visibility and help the team see how they are doing
Education and Experience Required: Degrees required for this job: Bachelor’s degree in Business, CS, or equivalent and 10+ years technically relevant work experience.
