SW Engineer with deep interest to transition to Data Engineering is the right fit, experience or background with Pharma, Insurance, CapOne type data mining is a great bonus
Our Client Manager is not hiring the typical prototype resumes - an IT engineer with too many too many buzzwords on the resume is red flag (for not being an in depth SW developer); resume must have LinkedIn profile link (to ensure it is legit resume). Resume/LinkedIn profile must reflect solid data and SW engineering storyline. Too many buzz words on resume is a NO GO!
Ability to Transition to projects and ability to sustain, develop cohesive work models within transitions is the key requirement.
Interview - 2, initial fundamental round and 15-20 mins coding test followed by team fit review(that will be based on Amazon leadership online sample Q&A kit to test candidate grit ~ how to design Twitter v/s how will you scale it for 1000s users); expected that candidate will write code, draw state diagrams etc. during both rounds; depth in technology & varied breadth of experience will be the key indicator to see a good candidate get hired
