As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a highly visible, strategic team focused building a high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant enterprise data streaming platform using Apache Kafka. This new platform will enable Client’s primary initiatives for the future.
The successful candidate will:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Contribute to the technical vision, architecture and implementation for the Client’s Streaming Platform (NSP); including CI/CD, Self-Service Interfaces, Feature Development and Continuous Delivery.
- Contribute to contribute to Near Real-Time Data Platform’s micro services based orchestration layer
- Contributes to the architectural standards, documentation and operational strategy with engineering leadership.
- Solid experience in languages – Go, other optional languages - Java, JavaScript, Python
- Experience in building large-scale, production grade, cloud native software
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes or other container technologies
- Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP or other
- Experience in distributed software monitoring, application performance monitoring & its visual representation.
- Experience with data streaming platforms (i.e., Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache NiFi)
