Job Title: Business Analyst - Operational Readiness
Duration: 6-9 months (with likely extension) Location: Richmond, VA (initial 6-8 weeks onsite) Travel Reimbursed: Yes (for possibility of a hybrid schedule of 1-2 weeks per month onsite)

Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically with a focus on operational readiness and gap analysis.
Experience in identifying gaps in systems, software, and operating practices.
Expertise in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Visio.
Ability to stay highly organized and detail-oriented in fast-paced environments.
Experience with gap analysis and implementing solutions to address identified gaps is required.
Utility industry experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
Perform a gap analysis to assess current operational processes and systems.
Identify gaps in operations, systems, and software that may impact organizational readiness.
Develop a strategy and action plan to address these gaps across various operational areas.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the implementation of the plan and drive adoption.
Ensure the project adheres to the schedule, scope, and budget.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the final solutions align with the organization’s future state and strategic goals.
