Project :
  •  The client is looking for a strong PM with some sound experience in HR projects along with a good understanding of the Legal and Finance impacts of this work
Short Description of this role:
To meet the changing nature of work, the Client has committed to supporting a distributed workforce model. The past model has included sole employment in the states of Oregon and Washington. We are transitioning to recruit and retain employees in multiple state locations. We currently have employees in 7 additional states through COVID related work and we are now looking at permanently maintaining out of state employment

 Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for a PM that has experience in transitioning employers into a distributed workforce for baseline HR and payroll processes. Work includes scoping, identifying impacted processes, vendor selection and outsourcing management and ultimately implementation including:
• Payroll management
• Corporate tax filings
• Legal status (wording?)
• Worker’s compensation insurance
• Leaves management including individual state requirements, PTO, etc…
• HR policy updates
• Compensation practices (regional pay)

Size of the Team: 10+

# of Years of Experience: Looking for 5-10 yrs of experience in Project Management

Required Skills
• Experience in managing/supporting transitions into a distributed, multistate workforce
• Ability to identify cross-functional impacts, risks
• Enhanced communications skills including the ability to present to executive management
• Experience with HR and/or Payroll preferred
